Home Care Client Experience

The ComForcare Experience

ComForcare began in 1996 as a single office in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan dedicated to providing the highest-quality services to clients and their families. The success of this business led to the start of the ComForcare franchise system in 2001. Today ComForcare has more than 170 independently owned and operated franchise locations throughout the United States and in Canada and the U.K.

While the majority of our clients live in their own homes, we also help individuals in retirement, independent and supported living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals and hospices, and extra care facilities.

Additionally, while we serve clients in varying stages of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, many of our clients are very independent, needing just a little help with some of the activities of daily living.

Our core business activity is taking care of elderly people, but we also provide assistance for people of all ages with physical or learning disabilities, mental health difficulties, sensory impairment, chronic medical conditions, traumatic brain injuries, and for clients undergoing rehabilitation or recovering from illness or surgery.

ComForcare is the best option for home care services for our clients and their families because:

We Tailor Our Services to Your Needs

Your loved one is an individual and, as such, has needs unique from anyone else. Whether we are providing full or part-time assistance, respite care, transportation or care services in an assisted-living facility, our goal is to ensure that your loved one's needs are met by a caring, qualified caregiver team. As your loved one's needs change, we adapt our care services to meet those changes.

You Make the Decisions and Choices

While our trained professionals conduct a thorough assessment to determine the needs of each client, the control is never out of your hands. You decide how many hours of service are needed and what the schedule will be. Our job is to work with you, prepare a care plan with you and make your life easier.

Whether care is needed a few hours a week or around the clock, temporary or long-term, you can rely on us to provide the services you need to support your loved one's dignity, independence and quality of life.
